DAY 1: NAIROBI
Early start driving north through sisal, pineapple and coffee plantations for Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Larsens' Luxury Tented Camp.  Afternoon game drive to flash out the animals that are to be found in this game sanctuary then back to the permanent tented camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: SAMBURU
A pre-breakfast, mid-morning and afternoon game drive occupies most of the day as we search for the elusive leopard, the majestic african lion and the rare gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx and other plains game.  All meals and overnight at Larsen's Luxury Tented Camp.

DAY 3:  SAMBURU - SWEETWATERS
After breakfast we depart the northern game sanctuary with its rare collection of wildlife and proceed southwards to Sweetwaters Private Wildlife Ranch, the only place in Kenya where the chimpanzee exist.  After lunch the afternoon is spent game driving, watching these larger primates or camel riding.  Dinner and overnight at the Luxury Tented Camp of Sweetwaters.

DAY 4: SWEETWATERS - BARINGO
After a pre-breakfast game drive we go back to the permanent tented camp for breakfast and afterwards continue out of the sanctuary for the Great Rift Valley.  The afternoon is spent watching birdlife at Lake Baringo, a veritable birdwatchers paradise.  Dinner and overnight at Lake Baringo Club.

DAY 5: BARINGO - NAIVASHA
Leave Lake Baringo after breakfast and proceed through the Bogoria Hot Springs to Lake Nakuru National Park for the game viewing and lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge.  In the mid afternoon proceed to Lake Naivasha for homestays at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge on the shores of the lake.

DAY 6: NAIVASHA - MARA
An early start for Maasai Mara which is reached in time for lunch at Mara Serena Lodge.  Afternoon game drive to locate the large variety of game that grace this famous sanctuary.  Among the wildlife you should see are the cheetah, the leopard, buffalo, elephant, antelopes, hippo, crocodile, hyena, rhino and giraffe.  Dinner and overnight at Serena Lodge.

DAY 7: MARA
Full day game viewing.  All meals and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 8: NAIROBI
Proceed after breakfast for the city of Nairobi reaching the city in the early afternoon.

Day 1 Samburu (LD) - Drive through rolling agricultural land to Samburu Game Reserve. Lunch and an afternoon game drive. Overnight: A lodge (333 kms, 5 hrs)

Day 2 Samburu (BLD) - Morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight: A lodge

Day 3 Treetops (BLD) - Lunch at the Base Hotel before transferring to your forest lodge for nocturnal game viewing. Overnight: Tree Hotel (185 kms, 3 hrs)

Day 4 Lake Naivasha (BLD) - Breakfast at Base Hotel before driving around the Aberdare Mountains, descending into the Rift Valley. Game drive in Nakuru National Park before proceeding to Lake Naivasha. Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge (215 kms, 4 hrs)

Day 5 Masai Mara (BLD) - Depart for the Mara after breakfast, arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Overnight: A lodge (230 kms, 4 hrs)

Day 6 Masai Mara (BLD) - Morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight: A lodge

Day 7 Nairobi (B) - After breakfast, drive to Nairobi, arriving mid-day. (280 kms, 6 hrs)
